Hi, I’m Lynda Irawaty.

My journey as a designer started with a passion for drawing and storytelling as a child. Even though I was raised in a family of entrepreneurs, I knew from a very early age that I wanted to work in the creative field.

Growing up in Jakarta, I've embarked on a fascinating adventure, residing and working as a Visual Designer in incredible locations such as New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and currently, Chicago.

My experience as a Digital designer in Tokyo made me realize that I have a passion for solving clients’ problems using creativity, analytical skills, and technology.

Afterward, I made the choice to shift my career path, pursued further education through enrollment in Brainstation UX Bootcamp, and ultimately secured a position as a Product Designer at Egencia, a business travel technology company that operates under AMEX GBT (formerly owned by Expedia).

In my downtime, I can be found at a dog park with my husband and Murphy, our Boston Terrier puppy. I also love practicing yoga and bingeing Korean Netflix series.

During my free time, you can often find me at a dog park with my husband and our Boston Terrier puppy named Murphy. Additionally, I enjoy practicing yoga and exploring new restaurants.

As my UX role evolves, I’m more interested in Design Strategy and Systems Thinking: moving beyond project deliverables to systems thinking, putting frameworks and processes in place to facilitate and foster great design thinking, research and collaboration with PM and Engineering.
